The roles of fathers in the family

Fathers play a very big role in the family. They are a strong support system when it comes to having a relationship with their wives in such a way that when their wives need any kind of support or shoulder to lean on, then they are there to offer a shoulder to lean on. Children look up to their fathers and they either do things so that their fathers can approve or so that their fathers can complement them. Wives on the other hand look for support and companionship from their husbands. The states of different countries have in turn come up with a set of rules and requirements that fathers have to adhere when it comes to the care of their children. These set of rules are called the rights of fathers. These rights come in handy when a father decided to father a child and then does not participate in the taking care of their children. In such a case then the set of rules are revisited and the father is required to be active in their child's lives or if not then they should make sure that at least they provide for their children.
